Do spells crit or just melee?

I played until i get the Neckelace of Forlorn which has 20% treasure bonus then i put it with the two other best items i have in the after life slots and let myself get killed. then i start the game with the neckelace and i get through the game a lot easier. then i keep equiping the best items i can find with the biggest damage bonuses on them. Whenever i have to i only use beserk and just hold down my finger over ever one and my dexterity and stamina get so high it just mowes them down. it gets to the point where when i hold my finger down it doesnt even make a noise because the sound cant keep up with my stike rate i guess, and that started happening around level 200. By level 226 I was up to wave 187 or so and i was doing well over 2500 damage if not over 3000, its hard to remember because the game froze and my score didnt get recorded. Does this game have an ending, because if it does i know i would have made it. I had 7 revive spells and i needed one or two beserk spells a round and i was mowing through guys. I could have kept on going for a lot longer I'm sure. I love this game, and cant wait for a save option hopefully in the 1.2 update.

Early on I just get the 2 best weapons I can damage wise. Also look for a poison book and blast ( I think it's called). Start gathering as much Wis and mana regen as you can. You can cast multiple poisons at the same time. After you do that you can just melée down the mobs that survived and at the same time regen your mana for next round. Also, be sure to keep your lowest lvl heal over 7 secs book & berserk while upgrading the 2 caster books. Try that out
